Belinda Boney

Belinda is a Murrawarri and Wailan woman and her family was originally from Goodooga. As an artist, Belinda is still growing and learning, but art has always been her passion from childhood. As a child, she liked to sit by herself under the trees and sketch. She is passionate about telling stories through her art, this is how our ancestors passed down our dreamtime stories and kept our culture alive. Art is very therapeutic for her, it has helped her to overcome some traumas and helped her to heal. Belinda will continue to do her art, in the hopes of teaching the younger generation the importance of our culture.
