I was born in Narrabri NSW I am a proud Gomeroi yinnar. As a family we moved to a number of places, but Narrabri is where my roots are from. With my father, mother and 2 sisters we moved to the beautiful South Coast where I have many family’s members from my Trindall side. I’ve also lived in Sydney too. I moved to Tamworth 20 years ago and with my toddler we settled and made Tamworth our home. These places all influence my art and how I may express my Aboriginal artwork to canvas. The biggest influenced on my love and ability to paint are from my father, mother and my Grandfather Cyril Knox. Today my love and passion for Aboriginal art is a daily one. I paint every day. It brings peace, healing, connection to my culture and ancestry and happiness. To share my art works all across locally, around Australia, Engand and America is truly wonderful.
