Stalking Mirri (wild dog)// Tim Stanford

Dreaming of Country is a true collaboration as artists and as husband and wife. Each using different mediums and assisting each other in the creative process. Tim is a Yuwaalaraay Gamilaraay and Jasmin is a Githabul Bundjalung, both living and working on Bundjalung Country. Tim was taught by his Grandfather; his practice explores his dreaming track and the Country he lives on. He works across multiple art forms including painting with acrylic and ochre, and sculptural forms using wood shaping and carving, metal work and pottery. Jasmin works across print-making, pottery and sculpture. Drawn to the natural environment, her work explores her connection to Country and often reflects native flora and fauna.
