Ernest Smith

Ernest is a Murrawarri man from Bourke and Goodooga. He was raised by his Grandparents, one Aboriginal and one non-Aboriginal. Ernest's upbringing inspires him to improve reconciliation by sharing his people's story and life experiences through his poetry. Ernest makes use of quiet times on Country and at home to develop his poetry. Sometimes they flow and other times they take longer to refine. He loves to express himself, his culture and his people's way of life. Bringing all walks of life together as one, to reconcile.
