Frank Wright

Frank Wright is a Gamilaroi man from Walgett. He started making art when he got sick as a boy, and for over 20 years it has been a part of his life and has become a way of life. Frank’s artwork reflects local stories and his local cultural experience, incorporating his unique style. He is a key figure in the Walgett art scene and is involved in teaching art, language groups and supporting other artists to become more active and successful. His energy and enthusiasm for art, is not only evident in his work but also in the way he supports his community.
